The Ikasu Lady Air certified motorcycle shoes are ideal for use in mild climates. They feature the same casual look and comfort as sneakers, making them perfect for everyday use. The Ikasu Lady Air shoes are designed according to the Woman Fitting Concept, the special TCX protocol developed to combine a perfect fit for the female foot with maximum safety, protecting the foot’s sensitive areas. Reinforcements with D30® inserts on the ankle, protection on the toe and heel guarantee maximum protection, while the OrthoLite® insole featuring long-lasting and highly breathable cushioning makes these shoes exceptionally comfortable. Maximum protection is guaranteed by the special Zplate® insert in molded polymer, which combines transverse rigidity for maximum safety and longitudinal flexibility owing to its Z-shape. Zplate® allows the shoes to follow all the natural movements of the foot, both when riding and when walking, while simultaneously protecting it by ensuring the shoes are not crushed in case of impact. The upper, in reflective mesh fabric with suede inserts, features side laces and an elasticated front zipper closure, which makes for an easier fit. The wear-resistant Groundtrax® sole is characterised by a tessellated tread that guarantees maximum grip on every surface.

ZPLATE
ZPLATE®, an exclusive TCX design, is a special insert applied to the midsole of motorcycle footwear, perfectly combining safety and freedom of movement. TCX footwear with ZPLATE® in the midsole guarantees impact protection due to its transverse rigidity which provides maximum safety in the event of crushing and longitudinal flexibility to follow all the foot’s natural movements – even when walking.

ORTHOLITE FOOTBED
OrthoLite® insoles were developed to ensure optimal comfort and maximum support for the sole of the foot, combined with maximum breathability in all conditions. OrthoLite® insoles offer long-lasting cushioning and less than 5% of its thickness is compressed over the lifecycle of the insole, so its properties never change. OrthoLite® insoles offer high breathability for perfect thermal comfort, thanks to the OrthoLite® open-cell foam that allows air to circulate in and around the insole, driving moisture away and keeping the foot cool and dry.

D3O®
Protective D3O® inserts, which feature in the construction of TCX's urban motorcycle shoes, offer an ideal balance of safety, comfort and ergonomics. D3O® is a patented soft and flexible material designed to stiffen on impact. In its raw form, D3O® molecules flow freely, due to their non-Newtonian nature, which allows the material to be soft and flexible. Upon impact, D3O® molecules merge together and absorb and dissipate the energy from the impact, significantly reducing the force transmitted to the body compared to standard materials. The protection it offers is, therefore, both optimal and imperceptible and is combined with maximum comfort and freedom when walking.
